GENUINE ITEM AND HAD LOOKED AT BY 3x NORTH COAST MUSUEMS * Buttons are gold and heavy (told by person who runs Schaeffer House in Grafton NSW when took it for an inspection at his house at Carr Street that its from Lord Nelson s era, genuine and where & how did I get it? Wanted to get a cabinet made up and man who specialises in this said You know the buttons and down trousers is real gold dont you, you should melt it down as heaps of gold on suit) * Stripe down pants on both sides is very heavy gold (you can touch this and feel its genuine metallic) * Jacket small and heavy as * You can truly see the real age of this item when inspection done (thats the first thing people state when inspect item) * Rang talkback show when Stan Zemanek was alive... was advised it is legitimate, owned by someone in British Government who resided in Scotland and people said if genuine then worth a fortune. * This was purchased by me when up for Auction at an Antique Auction * Sent pics to Christies and they could not find out how much worth but said its worth a heap and suspect where it originated from but not certain and would need item sent there....I have declined to see what happens on EBAY first as people advised me who inspected try that avenue first NOTE: This is advertised elsewhere and may be removed without notice

Medals are; Order of The British Empire Companion Neck Badge C.B.E. 2nd Type, 1939-45 Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, Korea Medal, United Nations Korea Medal, General Service Medal 1918-62 bar Malaya , and 1953 QEII Coronation Medal. All medals mounted as worn. Named medals are Queens Korea and GSM, both named COL. A.J.CLYNE. STAFF. All other medals unnamed as issued. His career 1934-1971 and history can be found in some Who s Who and on the internet.Comes with self portrait coloured 52cm x 67cm high framed. Also his ribbon bar of 9.The CBE has a sliver of enamel missing on the bottom arm, see photo. the rest of the medals are VF and better. Fantastic Rare group.
